Bone

To see a bone in the tundra, white in the ruck of brown and greens is to see a piece of my future outside my body. To pick it up is to hold a piece of the land’s past, present and future: a piece of the land dreaming. If we felt more that way we wouldn’t treat  the earth like dirt. Thoughts you can contradict, but dreams?
